Access to justice should not base on how much money a person has.
Law is supposed to be the most powerful tool for advancing access to justice for all. Unfortunately, due to ignorance and social-economic problems, more than half of the world population lacks access to justice. Access to justice should not base on how much money a person has.
BETTER LEGAL SERVICES LAW FIRM establishes a Pro bono unit to promote equal access to justice in providing legal aid services and help people to know laws that affect them through two programs:
- Justice for Vulnerable Program (JFVP) focuses on delivering legal aid services to eligible vulnerable for little or no cost.
- Community Law Education Program (CLEP) focuses on community education about laws that affect them.
Pro Bono Unit Mission and Vision
The mission of the Pro bono unit is to promote equal access to justice in providing legal aid services to eligible vulnerable people.
BETTER LEGAL SERVICES LAW FIRM Pro bono unit’s vision is to build a sustainable and effective Pro bono system to help the needy and the underprivileged get access to justice and build a community that knows the laws affect them.
